I thought I would publicly indicate upcoming articles I am working on or intending to write. Others may sneak in (on other subjects) depending on time constraints and current events, but the list is as follows:
- God Is In Control (The Doctrine of the Sovereignty of God)
- The Doctrines of Grace (5 Parts)
- Scriptural Innerancy (Probably 3 Parts)
Given what time I have available over the coming months (bearing in mind that the above type of article typically takes longer to write than most for me), I may intersperse these with a few thoughts on absolute truth (ie: a defense of it) and perhaps one or two articles on silly objections to God (like the traditional “rock so big he can't lift it”/“square-circle” canard).
I'm not going to give a timeframe for these, because I do not know when I will get them written. I keep myself very busy with my other commitments, and this is also an election year (which has its own distractions for a politics junkie).
I've launched the new design and site architecture today, replacing the old one. I feel it provides a cleaner, fresher, and more spacious design to previous versions. I've also taken the website out to a size to cater for 1024x768 users, as most websites are designed for such these days (with most people using decent modern monitors using such a resolution).
I have decided that the website requires a complete break with the past, with a completely new layout, design, and colour scheme. I'm also changing the way that the website content is broken down, and removing a couple of irrelevant sections.
The site has been redesigned slightly, and modified to be more dependent on databasing. The 'apologetics' and 'prophecy' sections have been amalgamated into a 'theology' section.
Welcome to nzpilgrim.net.nz! This is the new website of Ashley Clarkson, my previous hosting arrangements having ceased. In the long-term pipeline is some experimentation with databases for some content (such as the search function), and some modifications/rewrites of some of my articles. As always, a few more will be added from time to time as workload and commitments permit.
